Off Road Vehicle (ORV) and Snowmobile Use on JBER
ORVs
Dates for ORV use are dependent on seasonal conditions and therefore vary from year to year
Only ORVs with a Gross Vehicle Weight of 1,500 pounds or less may be operated in ORV areas
ORVs may only be operated in designated areas and on approved trails, see maps below
Damage to habitat beyond the trail surface is prohibited
All snow vehicles are
required by the state to be registered
All ORVs are required to be insured
All ORV riders must complete the
ATV Safety Institute's Rider Course
Snowmobiles
